My 3 friends & I were faced with a situation that I imagine happens to a lot of tourists in a foreign city .... we had to check out of our Airbnb in the morning, but our flight was at night and we had no where to put our bags. To complicate matters more, there were a few key activities in Medellin that we weren't able to get to. Reached out to Guanabana and they made it happen! We got picked up from our Airbnb in an SUV with an English-speaking guide (way way better English than you often find in those "free walking tours"). He drove us to Communa 13 where he arranged for a local to show us around and give us a more authentic experience. The Communa 13 guide even took us to her mother's house!! (to put things in perspective, we had signed up for a free walking tour of Communa 13 the previous day and left halfway through because our huge group of 30 was extremely akwards wherever we would go...with Guanabana, we were only 4 1 guide!) Afterwards, we were taken by our Guanabana guide to a delicious restaurant frequented only by locals. One of the best, and cheapest meals we had in Medellin (especially when compared to restaurants in Poblado). From there, we were able to squeeze in a quick trip to the Botanical Gardens. On the way to the airport, our guide took us to an amazing viewing point of Medellin from the top of the mountain. Something you would never see if you were just taking a taxi or shuttle to the airport. All in all, great experience with Guanabana. You really get what you pay for in a white glove service, English-speaking, thorough group of people that know exactly what they are doing. Would recommend to future visitors to Medellin for sure.

I had an amazing experience today going paragliding in the mountains of Medellín! I’m actually afraid of heights, so it was quite out of my comfort zone but it was great. Medellín apparently is the place to do paragliding with the best pilots in the world due to fantastic conditions that make it possible to fly the whole year. I felt very safe and was well taken care of by the pilot and my tour guide. They are very friendly, fluent in English and make sure, you’re having the best possible experience! Thanks for that! Maybe see you soon at another adventure!!
I truly do not have the words to express the amazing vacation that was planned for us by this travel agent and Guanabana Tours staff. Upon our arrival in each location, we were greeted by travel company guides or representatives. We never had to stress out about transportation or late arrivals. Everyone was on time (and early in most cases). We felt so welcomed and taken care of. The vehicles were always clean and well stocked with water. All guides and drivers were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. This vacation was truly a vacation of a life time for my wife and me. Every day I was amazed by what I saw, what I ate and all the new places we went. We made great memories that will last a lifetime and I am beyond grateful to our agent for helping us make all these amazing memories!
I've traveled A LOT in my life, but this was the best trip I've ever taken and it had everything to do with using this travel company. Everything from the initial trip planning process to the actual trip itself was seamless and made for an unforgettable experience. Guanabana Tours really cares for their clients, and I hope we get to travel to Colombia or its surroundings again so we can use his services again.
Today we did the 3hr ATV tour and it was amazing! I definitely recommend doing 3hrs because the 2nd half of the trip is so much fun. The team were all very professional and I felt very safe and relaxed in their care. The number 1 reason to choose these guys over others is they are always on time unlike other businesses in Colombia. Highly recommend!
We used this company two years ago. We went on a tour of Guatape and ATV riding. The guide, the car and the tour was great. We had three little kids with us and they made sure that everything we did was cool for them also. Planning a trip back soon and that's why I googled them again. Figured I'd throw them a review since I'm here. They are THAT good.
What can I say? Riding ATV's with Guanabana was truly an outstanding experience. They were punctual, organized, and professional. Our guide arrived on time and took care of us the entire day. We even decided to see Guatape last minute, but this was no issue for our guide. He gladly showed us around. If you're in Medellín, book with Guanabana. You will not be disappointed. This was most definitely a highlight to our Columbia stay.
Mountain biking, Paragliding, ATV, rafting, caving, rock climbing, overlanding.... I have done it all with Guanabana Tours, and for the sole reason - they are the best at what they do. Their customer service is second to none, they take care of everything so you can focus on enjoying yourself.
