We had the best experience with baquianos for the Ciudad Pérdida tour! We did the four-day trek with Pedro as our guide and Andres as our translator. The groups don’t get too big which is nice and one guide stays at the front and the other at the back of the group, so everyone can walk their own pace. We got a lot of stories about the indigenous tribes living in the Sierra Nevada which was great and the food served during the trip was nice. As a vegetarian I always got good food which was a surprise! Would really recommend this tour operator :)

An amazing experience. The jungle is hot which makes the walk tough but the team are so supportive. the whole trek and lost city are truly beautiful Staff friendly fun and knowledgeable. Very genuine - Amazing when my friend was sick and full rescue squad when her go pro got dropped in the river - it was found after 40min!!! Guide Ruth - very knowledgeable Translator - Eberth great fun and spent time teaching us Spanish. Carlos - cook help, great fun and an actual fish!! Hero of the day when he made it his mission to find the gopro. Food was ok, very basic kitchens so the staff did very well considering. Beds are comfy
Through Baquianos we had THE BEST guide on the mountain for our 4-day Lost City Trek, Miller. He shared history, personal stories from doing the Lost City trek over 180 times over the years, got us up early so we had all the trails and sights to ourselves, and secured the best bunks in the camps for us each night. We caught other trekkers listening in on Miller's stories more than once as their guide(s) weren't providing the same level of service. Our cook, Samir, was also outstanding, providing delicious food before and after our long days of trekking through the mud. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was also a great addition to the team. The trek is not for the faint of heart, but is worth every challenging step once you reach the lost city at the break of dawn and enjoy the journey along the way. Baquianos was the reason our Lost City trek was so amazing and I would highly recommend them above the other tour operators for the personalized service, outstanding experienced guides, and respect for the land and people of Colombia. Thank you, Miller!!

Unique alarm at 5 a.m, the best group, the funniest guides and a very cool experience to ciudad perdida.
We did the tour with 'Guias Y Baquianos' and it was the BEST BEST BEST thing of our entire holiday. We did the tour with our guide John, who had a passion for the nature and the local people who live there, and our translator Eberth, who is the most lovely (and chattiest) guy. The group was so much fun and I can't think of anything that I would change. Ok, perhaps the portion sizes, GOD those portion sizes. I could feed whole villages with those mountains of food. People who complain about stuff not being comfortable are just being extremely annoying. If you're a bit adventurous, you will love this tour.
