Arrived and the secretary was unprepared -- took about 30 minutes to get through the paperwork (mostly us waiting). Got to the car and the paperwork was still not prepared -- took about 45 minutes of the mechanic (or whoever) to inspect the car, fill out paperwork, and explain in excessive detail how to drive a stick and other very basic information that anyone qualified to rent a car here should know. We got to Hacienda Santa Barbara before realizing the car was having issues. The overdone security system was buggy -- took another 20 minutes from our schedule playing with the car to get it to open/close just trying to do basic tasks. The car stalled in the mall parking lot. We pushed it into a space, went on with shopping. Came back and it would not start. Called Hertz -- 1.5 hours waiting for a mechanic to arrive. He jiggled the key, opened the windows, closed the windows, opened the doors, closed the doors, and a lot of other unnecessary and seemingly unrelated rituals which he seems to think help bring the car back to life. It was able to start again intermittently and it took another 30 minutes to convince him that this car had issues. The car he came in was a rental, so he generously decided to let us switch out with him. It took another 1.5 hours while this guy revised every single minor scratch or scuff on the car. The review he made was excessive. The sun was going down at this point and we had completed all of 1 hour of shopping in Hacienda Santa Barbara, the rest of it dealing with these kooks. Complete waste of a day. May have been book a taxi for the day and found a place to rent a car outside of town.
They took 3 hours to do the paperwork to rent a car. We got full insurance, we had a small accident and they said it wasn't covered and charged us for the damage. They were difficult from the beginning and throughout. As a side point we will nit use them again and would recommend to anyone we know not to use them.

Abusan de los usuarios cobrando daños que ya estaban presentes en vehículos que alquilan. Debe ser muy detallista en el recibo del vehiculo para que no los estafen.
