I will give CERO stars to this place if I could. Unless you want to get scammed, STAY AWAY FROM ROYAL CAR RENTAL. This company must be sanctioned before the Colombian authorities for fraud. I didn't have a good feeling about this place from minute one, considering their poor service, and felt like an amateur company improvising without knowing the industry. I have rented cars in Colombia before, in several places including Asia, Europe and Africa but never heard such outrageous rental conditions as this company. Hand over of the car is slow and lousy, it took the employee 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete the paperwork; they forced us to leave signed blank vouchers in case of damages. Who does that? When we returned the car, once again a lousy process that took the employee half an hour causing us to incur in “late return fees”, are you serious? (But I did not receive any compensation for the hour and forty minutes that I had to wait for the handover of the vehicle). To top it off, this guy pulled out a mirror and started to check the car from underneath and magically found a scratch under the car! Yes, under the car!!! the list can go on and on about the wrongdoings of this company. I just wish we had read the reviews for this place before, as we found we are not the first ones to have terrible experience with them. I highly doubt the good reviews are from legitimate customers, most likely their friends!!

Amazing cars, Excellent services and comfortable price
Muy mala experiencia, nunca había tenido un servicio tan malo, entregan carros de categoría inferior, en mal estado, con más de una hora de retraso y si uno se atreve a quejarse lo amenazan con cancelar la reserva, no reconocen ninguno de sus errores. Cuando uno pide una explicación al servicio al cliente, tampoco reconocen ningún error. PESIMO.
PÉSIMO SERVICIO EN CARTAGENA!!!, al momento de hacer la inspección inicial del vehículo no se revisó debajo del bomper delantero (Realmente creo que nadie se acuesta para mirar en esa zona al momento de alquilar un vehículo)... Posteriormente, al devolverlo se entregó sin ningún tipo de daño, respecto al estado inicial. Fue en ese momento que el empleado (Fredy) saca un espejo dizque para mirar (ahora sí) debajo del bomper y oh sorpresa!! El carro tenía un rayón, del que según él, yo era el responsable; como no le quise pagar los 200.000 pesos que me pidió (como si además de todo la pieza estuviera intacta), procedieron a hacer un cobro de forma ilegal por 444.000 con los datos que tenían de la tarjeta de crédito que se dejó de respaldo.. en fin, NO LOS RECOMIENDO EN LO ABSOLUTO, SON UNOS ABUSIVOS, VENTAJOSOS Y LADRONES. Ya está en trámite su respectivo proceso judicial por abuso de confianza y estafa.

Hace unas semanas renté un vehículo en este lugar. Tienen variedad de coches y el papeleo no toma mucho tiempo. Para que no hayan posteriores problemas recomiendo revisar muy bien el vehículo antes de tomarlo. En general lo recomiendo por su buena atención al cliente y eficacia.
Hace un mes y medio rentamos un vehículo y todo fue de maravilla, la entrega fue a tiempo, el carro impecable, y la persona que nos atendió fue muy cordial. Nosotros tuvimos un accidente y todo se solucionó fácilmente, recomendamos los servicios de alquiler de carros de Royal Rent A Car.
Me gusto el servicio que nos presentaron a mi y a mi familia, nos entregaron un vehículo mejor del que solicitamos, nos gusto su calidad humana y su paciencia para explicarnos todo lo que conllevaba alquilarlo. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente. Lo recomendaría.
