Different day for me and i saw some different animals, why not at least you walk and hold the hands of your lovers....

The zoo had a wide variety of animals and it was impressive—I really enjoyed watching some of them—but some of the enclosures were so tiny and the animals looked so sad. Fat python in a tiny box, elephant standing so lonely in a tiny pool, big cats with nowhere to run. There was also electric wiring around a lot of the animal enclosures (otter, spider monkeys, elephant) which made me super sad to think about.
I'm not in favor of a Zoo but I understand that most of them are rescue. I suggest that the Zoo needs to be bigger for the animals, some of them seem that are stressed there: the lions, pumas, leopards. It's so beautiful and it's clean. The price is reasonable.
Good place to go with little kids.
Full of color, animals and tropical feeling. This is a place that you must visit if you are in barranquilla and you have children. My kids love seeing all the exotic animals that they do not get to see in the states, yes We have visited the Bronx Zoo and even thought the bronx zoo is a beautiful zoo the Zoologico de Barranquilla is a wonderful one in a much smaller scale. It is a fantastic facility and their weekend activities are full of educational information. We all enjoyed visiting the zoo, I highly recommend it as an extra activity while in town.
Very Nice place to visit
It is an excellent place to go with your kids and show them the different animals. Although, animals should not be kept in cages, it is pedagogical since children learn that animals and the environment should be protected.
Excellent place for kids and adult entertainment.
