Good for kids
I had a tour of the place by someone who might be running the memorial. It was in spanish, was nice, took my photo and sold me a souvenir. It was a very safe spot. I walked there. The walk seems unsafe but I can tell medellin is alot safer than it looks.

Visited here because Pablo Escobar is an important part of history that cannot be forgotten. The struggle of the working class against the rich and corrupt is alive and well. It is sad to see how unappreciated this place is and a sad reminder that those without political power, connections, and family wealth will be branded as criminals when they try to improve their life.

Nothing special, just a tourist trap but from this neighborhood if u go to the top there is a great view of the city.
So I caught an Uber up here and the drive up was like something from Narcos the TV show, was such a great experience. It didn’t feel like the best neighbourhood as when I got out to take a few photos a few locals came up demanding money. The Uber driver was great and we only paid them 2000 pesos for the privilege to take photos. I would suggest this to anyone keen
Cool to see the neighborhood and hear all about the good he did for those people, and not hear all the bad.
Pablo's neighborhood is worth a stop if your doing a narco tour. The small museum and story from the caretaker was worth the detour.
Had a chance to meet friends of Mr. Escobar very nice people. But the street is dangerous to be alone.
