I really enjoyed my time at Toucan Dance school. All the teachers are super friendly and fun. I joined the free salsa group class and did 5 private salsa lessons and I can highly recommend both! Since I was completely new to dancing it was really difficult for me, but Kristell is a great teacher. She is very patient, adopted her classes very well for me and always made me feel confident and enjoy the class. She obviously also is a great dancer and I am sure more advanced students can also learn a lot from her. I would happily take lessons here again, thank you Toucan Dance!

Toucan Dance is a fun place to learn to Salsa, Bachata, and more! The professors are personable, energetic, and patient. There are a variety of classes each day to choose from, and interacting with the other students is a joy. Toucan also has special events at the school, language school, and café that made my time in Medellín a memorable experience (things like coffee classes, fruit tastings, chiva buses, and bar crawls). I'm excited to go back.
Toucan dance is a great place to learn. Carolina is an amazing teacher! We laughed a lot and I progressed loads. Would definitely recommend learning there and booking your lessons with her!
I took private salsa lessons and participated to the free classes as well. The private lessons really helped me to advance in salsa. My teacher, Carolina, was great and had a lot of patience with me. Thanks to her I now can go and dance at the salsa bars in Medellin.
Took some of the free classes and decided to take private lessons with Kristell just for salsa. As far as the free lessons, I always feel like I learn something new and the teachers are fantastic. For the private lessons I really enjoyed them because I feel like I really progressed, even just over 5 hours. The distance was extremely far for me because I live in Estadio so i had to stop, but I would continue for another few weeks if I lived closer. I also had a lesson with Carolina and that was enjoyable too. All the teachers know what they are talking about and speak a bit of English too. 10/10 would do again. It's the best value for your buck for lessons.
Toucan was a great place to learn Salsa and Bachata. The instructors were amazing and I would highly recommend Toucan Dance if you are in Medellin.
The dance teachers at Toucan are amazing & have a lot of talent & patience when it comes to teaching! I’ve had Daniel for my private salsa classes he was fantastic & led the class at a pace that was right for my learning ability. Muchas gracias Daniel & Toucan dance!
Toucan dance is a professional place to learn all the types of Latin dance, the stuff are amazing, really good atmosphere, gives you a great push and confidence, especially Carolina she’s the best!
