Small, but a nice place. Its on private land with the owner collecting the money, not exactly sure how this classify as a national park, but whatever, the 2 birds I saw were cool I guess

Absolutely delightful place for watching this species. Easy access
This is a nice little visit (check hours) IF you are in the area. We drove from Medellin to see the birds and it is not worth that long of a drive. The owner is very helpful and has a vast knowledge of birds and the gardens. There is a little waking up and down a hill to get here so if you are disabled be aware of this dirt road you must embark upon. Parking is not real close but you can park on some side streets for free and then take the short walk.
My experience was very good because the main reason I was going to, was to see the birds "Gallito de las rocas" and I got to see it very close and displaying! Very beautiful small place!
This place is right in the pueblo but, once cross the entrance, you'll have a hard time to believe that you're aren't way far from the pueblo. The inside is set up in a non-invasive to nature way. The Gallo Roca bird, will welcome you allow themselves to be viewed from very little distance. This is a place to visit in Jardin.
A calm and peaceful town. If you're making a trip to Salento stop here. You won't be disappointed
The story of a botanist and his wife who with the help of their son turned a cow pasture into a birder's and nature lover's precious gift to Jardin and visitors.
Really beautiful garden. Do not miss it! Check the hours of opening because it is not opened all day. So many birds to see and also hundred of butterflies! And of course the Cock of the Rock! You can see it so close! It is about 10min walking from the main place. Entrance fee is 10 000 cop (cv 3usd). The lady is okay.
