Joe is a man of many talents. Aside from running this entire tour company, he’s an amazing chef, and he’s committed to sourcing locally and contributing to the local farmers and the indigenous people. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and spoke great English. If you go to Minka, I highly recommend you go with Joe.

I did the full day Minca tour and it was great! Joe and the guides did a great job and their enthousiastic stories about coffee, cacao, biodiversity were very interesting. And contagious: When I started this tour I didn't expect to be singing a Chocolate song at the end of the afternoon ;)

This was a nice tour but we would have appreicated some more information about Minca and the surroundings. As we are englishspeaking we didn’t get that much information. Everybody working with the tour were superfriendly and helpful. The infomartion about the diversity, cacao and bambu was great!!

Be prepared to walk 3 to 4 miles. You will wade through several creeks so bring shoes that you can get wet. I wore sandals. Joe was very knowledgeable and congenial. He could shorten his talk on bamboo, though.
