More than food! Luckily for me I was the only member of the Food Tour with my local guide Paula. She did really a great job explaining all the different kinds of food (in English): Ajiaco, fried plátano, tamales, fruits and juices, chocolate with cheese, craft beer and empanadas. Paula also responded to my requests for more vegetarian food. All of these tastings took place in various wonderful locations. The tour is only for that reason worth knowing. A special feature is the empanada stop in a privat house, where your make your own empanada (of course with lovely help). - But, best of all, was the friendly guide Paula. She did not only explain everything around the food, no, she illuminated also the historical and social backgrounds and answered all my questions around Colombia and Bogotá. It felt not like a booked tour, it felt like a wonderful afternoon with a good fried. Thank you, Paula, for this filling afternoon. I can fully recommend this tour.
