A monument builded the 7 of August of 1992 in honor to Simon Bolivar. The five women represent the country's that he helped to reach their independence. And Clio "la musa de la historia" is in the front of the monument with a book. This statue gives a good view of the representative place of the war of independence between Spain and the Nueva Granada (as Colombia was called cover the beginnings of the 1800. This place was very important as it was the battle when Colombia won the war and they screamed the independence in the history between Spain and La Nueva Granada in 1819.

Es un sitio de visita obligada ya que es tanto histórico como turístico todo ordenado y limpio además cerca al ciclorama que es una sala para ver vídeos 360 y a un café donde se puede conseguir comida típica de la región recomendado totalmente
Monumento a Simón Bolívar, Puente de Boyacá.Obra de Ferdinand von Miller fabricada en Münich Alemania 1930. Conjunto de esculturas en bronce que representan en el centro arriba a Simón Bolívar, sostenido por 5 mujeres que representan las 5 naciones liberadas por él, en la base de cada una el escudo de cada país. En la parte inferior Clío musa de la historia, cerrando el conjunto 4 ángeles anunciando a los 4 puntos cardinales la batalla del Puente de Boyacá y la gesta libertadora.
