It was my first experience in diving and it was awesome! Alejandro is a great guy and had patience to teach me and my wife, keeping us calm and giving us tips even under the water. He took us to a wonderful place were we could see a lot of fish, starfish, coral... They have a exclusive service that pick you at your place (hotel, apartment) and leaves you back there, so you do not have to take a taxi. All the equipment was very new. At the end of the dive, we received a certificate.

I dived with Alejandro in August 2017. Felt safe in my first immersion, comfortable with the thorough previous practice in the pool. Alejandro is obsessed about safety but provides you confidence and the necessary tricks. He picked me up at the hotel and dropped me after a great diving day. Would repeat if I am lucky enough to return to the paradise in Providencia.

First dives of my travels around south America that I actually enjoyed. Warm waters, lots of sea life and reef sharks. Stunning coral. I went with The Dive Shop after a recommendation from a traveller who had spent 3months on Providencia. I was not disappointed. Dive Shop is a pretty new company on the island (8months) with all brand new, decent branding equipment shipped in from Europe. Alejandro (owner and instructor). He picked us up from. Our hotel, took my friend for a discovery dive training in the swimming pool to learn the basics whilst I went out with one of his dive masters (Alex and Alexson), both who had been diving for years and lived on the island. I felt safe in all their company. The afternoon dives we met up with my friend and Alejandro, and went diving as a group. We were never more than 4 1 instructor 1 dive master. I would consider going back and doing a dive master course with Alejandro. Amazing diving and great company. Definately recommend.
