Best Dive Shop in the Island! I did my PADI Open water here, and was a little anxious at the beginning. My instructor Gerardo was very professional, kind and patient, as well as the entire team. They take care of all the equipment and carry it for you, so you basically just have to enjoy the dive. It was a really great experience, everything went smoothly and the divings were wonderful. I didn’t go but they also organized a night dive that I heard was beautiful. Highly recommended !!

Good and cheap. Instructors know their business and the equipment, except for fins, are in good shape (tanks are maintained properly!). I tried multiple shops and liked this one the best, even though I would suggest to invest in better fins.
I'll say the atmosphere at the dive shops on this island are...."relaxed". Sonny's was no different but he did not feed the sharks as others I'd heard of. Had a good dive but I wouldn't recommend for first time divers.
A friend did her first dive (baptism) and was very satisfied of the instructor (Dinston?), Very professional and calm. I did 2 dives with another friends and staff carry the tanks to and from the boat and help us . Nevertheless, The two diving sites (piedra Tortuga 20m depth, and Tres cositos 12m depth) were not awesome..

We had some amazing dives here and had lots of close shark encounters! (Also no shark feeding here beware for other dive shops on the island) Good equipment and safety, thank you Lucio and Charlie for guiding us in the underwater paradise!
I was really impressed with the service at Sonny Dive. The dives were wonderful (Providence is a great place for diving!), and both guides (Dinston and Charlie) were pretty good at their jobs, offering a great and safe experience. The boat was very fast, arriving quickly at the dive spots, and their surface interval is always done on land (which is a plus!). Rental equipment is very new and well maintained, and their team is awesome. Greatly recommended to anyone who thinks of going to Providence.
Excellent service. Staff was very helpful and responsible. Albert was a great instructor and the places we went were awesome. You can see sharks really close. Highly recommended.
