From its unique location on the Caribbean coast at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Colombia, La Sierra serves as a nexus of cultural activities for Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States, and provides an opportunity for creative professionals from around the world to stimulate their inspiration and creative practices through the magnificent natural beauty that characterizes the Sierra Nevada region. Over the past year, La Sierra has begun its lifelong journey of fostering intercultural exchange in the area by enacting several exciting educational programs, art projects, and community initiatives between visiting artists and our local residents.
