I stayed at La Brisa Loca a total of 4 separate times in my stay in Colombia - it was impossible to stay away! The staff are awesome, food great, and vibe unbeatable. I spent my 24th birthday there and have absolutely no regrets. Thanks so much La Brisa Loca! I'll be back

This place has been here for a long time so it need no introduction. It's not as new as other hostels but the upkeep is decent, and the large roof top patio is a large bonus. However the A/C did not work properly, and the staff seems to think very very loud reggae tone is what the average guest wants at 10AM with thier breakfast.
Stayed here multiple times as I travelled up and down the coast. Staff are great! It's a large hostel and always had people around. Would like to return post-COVID as I reckon the atmosphere would be excellent. Dorm rooms were 30,000 p/n.
Very nice and helpful personnel. Centrally located hostel with a pool, restaurant and bar as well as an own party on the rooftop. Was happy for all this. Only minus, if you want to sleep early and not join the party, the noise from the rooftop party may not allow you. I advise the hostel to install noise isolation doors or for guests to equip themselves with good earplugs. In general, thank you the staff for the amazing service
This is a party hostel. They tell you this as you check in and it's not a lie So if you're looking for a relaxed place to sleep, this is not the one! The terrace and its parties are famous. They are loud and you won't go to bed before 3am. But don't worry. The beds are super comfy and the bathrooms very clean. Pool is a nice addition, especially weather on Santa Marta can be cruel. Only downside? the AC in room can be too much so it would have been nice to get a blanket to cover with.
This is a good party hostel, you will find a rooftop disco, restaurant bar on the second floor and swimming pool on the first one. It is pretty loud so do not stay here if you are looking for a quiet place. It is 20 minutes away to taganga(for scuba diving) you can go by bus. It is also walking distance to the bus station to go the tayrona national park. They charge 6% extra if you pay with a credit card. Happy travels!
Probably the best party I had in Colombia. One of the barkeepers didn't know how to serve whisky and had a bad attitude about it. After a discussion I got it but with crushed ice... I wanted a different barkeeper to make it (who did it fine) but she insisted she does it. She shouldn't work in such a great place. But I had such a great time that I still give it full score.
