Cafe Jesus Martin was one of the best cups of coffee in Salento! Serving up locally produced coffee in a variety of brewing methods. Excellent service, good atmosphere, great coffee!
Great coffee, excellent service and a wide variety of coffee roasts and brewing methods... We tried the honey roast with the Chemex and loved it! Unique flavors as the beans are left with all the sugar on them before drying and roasting... The Chemex experience was awesome! Our barista came to the table and did the whole thing in front of us... Overall great experience! We came back before leaving town and bought beans too!
I have been to many coffee shops around the world and this place needs better management. We arrived at 11am today and our waitress said the kitchen was closed and they were not serving breakfast, we had to ask her to please ask the chef if he can make us breakfast instead of her making the suggestion. The menu should say that breakfast is served only to a set time and would of helped us decide to eat elsewhere. Our waitress was not friendly, she was rude and also forgot my pastry. When she brought my girlfriend her alfajore it was in a plastic package, which at the time she did not want it because she thought it was freshly made so she changed her mind, the waitress answered “ that’s what I told you, it came in a package.”The waitress had no customer service skills. When we were done eating, I had to walk up to the front and ask for our check. I tried to pay with my American Express and it was not accepted, I understand it may have higher credit card fees for the merchant but I wasn’t even given a paper recipient. The cashier asked for my phone number and said it will be sent via text. This was not a good way to start off our trip to Salento...
The best coffee and café in Salento, maybe even in Quindio. We visited every day whilst in town.
Very good quality coffee! Especially americano was really fresh and had good flavor. We had a traditional sandwich and it was really delicious!
Lovely little cafe you can spend a relaxing morning or afternoon in. The cafe is located just off the main square so it doesn't get all of the tourists. I had a simple espresso which was delicious and their homemade chocolate cake. The cake was maybe more of a 4/5 than a 5/5 but I'd still eat it again.
Great coffee, but incredible carrot cake! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable seating, large selection of coffees and teas, fast WiFi.
