Thinking about typical Food? Go get it! Actually you will find local food from Antioquia (Paisa) mainly but also you can get other things specially meat and pork cracklings. Great AREPAS with our soft cheese (quesito). They have some options for vegetarians but do not expect too much. Is not a fancy place, but is great!!! Prices ok for a tourist standard.

This is a place for local food. Here you will find the Bandeja Paisa, with red beans, bacon and rice. This restaurant is located in the south gate of the city when going to Cali and the Eje Cafetero (Quindio, Risaralda and Caldas). It is good for a breakfast with arepa, eggs and hot milk chocolate. For a new experience like a visitor from outside, ask for an arepa de chocolo with quesito (corn arepa with white cheese from cow milk). Also, ask for morcilla, a black pudding that is very good for getting a higher reading in iron in your blood. Service could have been faster, but it was good.
