Great place. I joined for a month and then instantly cancelled so as not to have to keep paying. It was a lot cheaper than day passes, but registration and payment by card had to be done on the internet and then biometrics for entry at the gym. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a good range of equipment. Bring your own padlock for the lockers.

Very good quality gym with mostly Matrix equipment. It has everything you need and more for cardio or weights. I was there on a Sunday and is quite busy. It is a bit expensive for a single visit at 25,000 CoP. Also, they do not accept cash and you can only pay by bank card.

Alot of good modern equipment, but like it was mentioned dumbells all over the place. I would recomend to management label the weight rack it will assist in people placing weights back in proper spot, also encourage members to place the weights back. I was in Cartagena for one month so I signed up for one month, as I came in to cancel the membership before the month expired. They sid I needed to cancel a month prior so I will be billed for 1 more month...now explain the logic in that to me. But it is so cheap I would go back.

This gym is a mess. Dumbbells, plates, kettlebells are left by members all over the floor of the gym. Members use equipment and do not unload the weights. I’ve seen the squat rack left with 12 10kg plates left on it and the leg press with up to 16 20kg plates left on the machine. People go through the effort of lifting all the weight but are too lazy to unload and place weights back where they belong. People grab multiple sets up dumbbells and then just leave them on the floor on the opposite sides of the gym. You get what you pay for, it’s cheap but you also waste 15-20 minutes a session finding the weights you need or unloading the person before’s weights. The gym makes absolutely zero effort in teaching members proper gym etiquette, no signs or announcements over the intercom and the staff is usually just talking and hanging out with eachother. At the end of the night staff use a shopping cart from the grocery store next door and roll it around picking up weights and dumbells, they think this is totally normal, but they should be embarrassed.

They do not allow walk-ins. They wouldn't even let me pay the monthly rate to work out for the day. Considering the number of tourists that come to Cartagena, you would think they could be a little more accommodating (and would want our money). Sort of ironic considering the name is Smart Fit. That said, from what I could tell from the reception area, the gym itself looked pretty good.
