Good museum. Takes about 2 hours to get round relatively thoroughly. It's not entirely focused on the region though as some fauna if from North America, Africa and Asia. Still, I enjoyed it and left with a sense of how vulnerable many animal species are.

Of course an excellent place to visit and learn about the local and national animal species... administrated by the University of Cauca the best one at South West of Colombia... just 4000 COP per person...

Impressive collection of animals in the museum but lack of information! The museum is located in a university building (of biology) and is not really maintained! Some rooms had no lights while others had no information.
