By far one of the most important places to visit in Bogotá, awesome museum. Nowadays Beatriz Gonzalez retrospective !!

The place is always bringing something new in the temporary exhibitions building, and that's a plus when going to a familiar space, it brings new approaches to the permanent exhibitions aw well. Right now they're showing some photos of Martin Parr, and the contrast with the other exhibitions is very noticeable. The place is very enjoyable and diverse.

Amazing collection by great renowned Colombian artists, especially Fernando Botero. And what's even more amazing is that it is free. A must-see when in Bogota.

This whole complex is a must do in Bogotá. From the numismatic dream of old minting machines to exquisite art from all over Latin America, including a piece from my favorite, Ecuador's Guayasamín, this is an art lover's dream. Housed in an old colonial structure, the sprawling museum is sure to delight--and with regards to Botero's pieces, confuse.z
