Free museum that gave a good history of the military in Colombia. I was able to pick up a lot of the language but had some difficulty coming from my native English. Pretty cool to see Colombia's involvement domestically and world wide.

Very interesting place, and it's free, one hour will be enough
Free admission and very well organized!
Great museum to visit. Filled with rich history of the Colombian military.
Very interesting to learn about the military history of Colombia and weapons from all around the world.
Located in Candelaria Historical Center in the capital of our country, the Military Museum shows more than 200 years of Colombian military history. The Museum is built in what used to be Captain Antonio Ricaurte's house, back in the 19th century. The Military Museum is a cultural and historical center where elements related to our Independence, the history and development of the Colombian military forces are exhibited. Uniforms, weaponry, medals, aircraft, ships scaled-models, and some full-size vehicles are also shown. In its nine rooms and two courtyards, visitors will be able to get in touch with Colombian military history and being part of it.
The best! The Tour guide is very knowledgeable and fun.
Very good museum. You can review your Colombian history lessons or add some interesting facts to it. Very special for boys that love the army. I know it's not nice to compare but this it better than the police museum. Love the helicopter and guns in the outdoor areas, and the clothing collection from the different ages of the Colombian military force.
