I needed transportation to the airport during the quarantine and the driver arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled and was very friendly. Driving was safe and we made it to the airport without any problems. He even waited outside the door to ensure that we got in the airport without any issues (because of the quarantine they were checking IDs and boarding passes at the doors). I was very impressed and am going to use Medellin Transfer Service when we return in May. Thank you so much!

This taxi service was founded by 2 European expats who understood how to put at ease first-time travelers to Medellin who may also be non-Spanish speakers. They employ drivers who are well-adapted to expats and tourists. Drivers are well-groomed, attentive and respectful. They will wait for you - no matter how long your flight is delayed -. As I am a senior person travelling alone, I use their service because when my flight arrives late in the evening (11 pm), I feel safe boarding alone their vehicle and my family has peace of mind that I am in good hands.
Hired them to pick me up from airport to drop me off in Medellin and then they picked me up again and we went together to wait for my wife's arrival. We finished off one last ride with them on the way back to the airport to leave. They were always on time, always available on whatsapp to confirm/help schedule, available to help give you guidance about the necessary pickup/travel time, and they went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable in a city that I was unfamiliar with -- and that was very valuable to me. I have been now to Medellin more than once, I speak Spanish, I can navigate a taxi/uber and even had buddies offer to give me rides to the airport. There are probably other options but the reliability, clear communication, safety, and peace of mind associated with these guys makes it worth it in my opinion.
We used Medellin Airport Transfer on Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas from the airport to the hotel and back and were very impressed with the service. It was a relief to see the driver at arrivals with a large card with my name on it. The cars were comfortable, and the drivers were very helpful and safe drivers on the hilly roads from/to the airport. I was especially impressed that I could make a late change to our pickup time due a change in flight plans without any hassle. I would highly recommend this very reasonably priced service for anyone visiting Medellin.
My experience with Medellin Airport Transfer was very positive on the first leg of my journey from the airport into the city. However, after booking and paying in full in advance for my drive back to the airport through Medellin Airport Transfer, the driver never showed up, leaving my sister and I stranded outside of our lodging in the middle of the night (1:30am). After getting in touch with the company, after the fact, to let them know that their driver never showed up for us (we ended up having to find wifi in the middle of the night and book an uber), they refused to accept that the driver did not show at the time I booked, and refused to issue any refund. I typically don't write reviews like this, but I wanted to make sure that other people were aware of what might happen when booking through this company.
