I don't usually leave many reviews but this place is awesome. The owner and staff are wonderful very friendly and helpful. They make sure that you have everything you need and the space is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is made fresh every morning per order. I would highly recommend staying here and I would stay here again

What an original place ! This boutique hotel was awesome, very affordable , clean and comfortable even when small . The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms super original . The service is fantastic the owner goes out his way to help you . The breakfast was really good made fresh for you and very abundant ! I wiññ stay here again if available .

This place was very cozy and home like. Plants everywhere and even turtles and a cat. Felt like in a small jungle inside a home. Adorable room. Great service from staff! My only feedback to this property owner would be to change the staff uniform to a cooler attire due to the lack of air conditioning outside the rooms. Temperatures can get very hot in Cartagena and especially in the kitchen where the poor staff is cooking meals dressed in chef attire. Please help your staff feel more comfortable and let them wear tanks and shorts. I'm sure no guest will mind and you will have happier and healthier staff.

Stay away!! We paid 130 per night and it was disgusting, I don't think they have ever washed the floors or cleaned the rooms thoroughly. The staff was nice and breakfast was pretty good. But trust me you can get way way more for your money. I have no idea how they have such a good reviews. Like anything else in Colombia, it has nothing to do with what you pay for what you get. That means that you can pay 20 and get something that is 10 times better then something that you would pay 100 for.

This place is amazing, right in the middle of everything no need to taxi anywhere after the airport. They have a pet turtle which is awesome I mean like that was super cool! The staff is super friendly and Luis explained to us the city and where to find things over the top customer service really made our stay welcomed! I will definitely stay here again and I’ll tell my friends about it!

We immediately felt at home when we arrived late in the evening at this beautiful bed and breakfast, greeted by staff who were waiting for our arrival. We stayed in the souvenir d'afrique suite and the minute we stepped in we felt like we hit the jackpot- an incredibly comfortable four-poster bed with high thread count sheets and fluffy pillows, cozy lighting (because lighting is everything!), a super interesting selection of books and art from the owner's travels, a well-stocked minifridge and great bathroom space with two separate sinks and beautiful tiled shower. Everything in the room was sparkling clean and well arranged. We really loved the roof deck with the jacuzzi and spent some time there that evening just relaxing and enjoying the views over the surrounding neighborhood. It's located on a very convenient street close to all the attractions in the Getsemani neighborhood but still very quiet and intimate so you don't feel like you're in the middle of a busy tourist area at all. There are lush tropical plants everywhere and an adorable cat and tortoise and it feels completely magical. The included breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit at a sunlit table surrounded by plants. Besides the beautiful place itself, what makes it special is that Marcus and his staff are genuinely kind and amazing hosts. We felt very well taken cared of and would love to stay here again the next time we are in Cartagena. Thanks Les Lezards!
