Good food and astonishing views of the ocean at this landmark hotel. I resided here for 3 days, and have eaten at the restaurant more than once on return trips to the area.

Great place to stay. Our family with a 5 year old and 1 year old loved it. We brought the baby a travel sleeping tent. It felt like living in a tree house.
Good food, good rooms, and good service. No complaints except they did have a lot of construction and didn't even offer any discounts, which was a little wack but our bartender Anthony and Alejandra made our experience amazing.

Restaurant deserves 5 stars, the food was good, nice cocktails and pleasant service. Good place to hang out. The room, 1 star. We stayed in a private double room we payed 50 EUR/night and I found it incredibly dirty and unmaintained. The sheets had blood stains on, we asked them to change them, we got new sheets with different stains. Towels also discusting. No matter how basic the furniture is in a room, the sheets should be clean. The shower did not have a shower head but only a hose. All reviews are relative to the price to pay and for 50 Eur/night the conditions were not acceptable. Also, comparing with different rooms in the region for the same money, I must say I am disappointed by the cleanliness of Brisa.
So many great memories at this place! We had planned to stay there for a couple of days but we kept extending our stay because of how much fun we were having. Great food and drink prices (especially during their happy hours), friendly staff who mostly were able to speak English and spectacular views. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is that we did not have access to wifi in our bungalow. Just make sure you bring mosquito repellent with you since the sand flies go nuts when it gets dark. I also wish they had a small shop in that area for all necessary items such as shampoos and sun screens and etc. The music usually goes on until 4-5 am, so if you are a night owl you'll probably have a good time.
This is a very tranquila beach destination. The staff is friendly especially the red headed bartenders!! Rooms are very basic but serve their purpose for showering and sleeping. Food was delicious, kudos to the chefs!!
Enjoyed our stay at La Brisa Tranquila. The location was gorgeous (worth the treck to the hostel). It is right on the beach front. The room was fair and the fan and mosquito net was appreciated. Only suggestion would be adding a bathroom floor mat. Bed was comfortable. Food was fairly priced and tasted really good. I enjoyed the Papaya Daquiri (ordered atleast 4 of them). Happy hour drinks were basic.
