Hangar Films is a production services and an equipment rental company based in Bogota and Quito with commercial representation in London. We began operations in 1980 as a rental house and over the last 10 years we have started getting involved in the co-production of feature films, short-films, TV series and documentaries. We have been involved in more than 30 different projects. Our in-house team is 12 people strong who cover the planning, execution and operational management; roles such as field producers, location managers, transport and logistics experts. Additionally we have access to a pool of 60 technical freelancers who we deploy alongside the rental of equipment. As a company we are very interested in working with British and European production companies and to showcase Colombia as a production location to leverage the geographically diverse scenes, high tech equipment and multilingual crews and casting. In addition, the Colombian government just approved a law that will reimburse 40% of the foreign investment made in Colombia for all Production Services and 20% of accommodation and catering expenses.
