We travelled from Medellin to Solento, we were unable to buy tickets online but arrived at the bus station at 10.30am and were able to get on the 11am bus. The buses are very modern and clean, with a toilet, reclining seats and a touch screen TV on the back of each seat including English speaking films. Really happy!

We took this bus from salento to Medellin which supposed to be about a 7 hour trip. Because of traffic and ended up being 8 which is no fault of the company. The bus was nice, it had TVs with movies and music for free. On the seat were chargers for devices. The bathroom on board was satisfactory. The only reason I give it 4 stars was because it was a very bumpy ride. Although many people would welcome a quicker trip it definitely took a toll on the passengers. A number of them suffered bad motion sickness.
We took the Selento to Medellin bus and while the bus was good (onboard screens, reclining seats, toilet) the journey was long at 7 hours. The roads for the last two hours are very windy and the driver was doing some very questionable overtaking. At one point a motorcycle crashed in front of us, which demonstrates the recklessness of drivers on this stretch of road.
Travel from Salento to Medellin was completely fine. Bus driver was driving safely although it took a bit longer than expected. Bus was modern.

Flota Occidental is no longer at this location (Carrera 2 - March 2018). There is a small unit/ticket shop to buy your bus tickets for this company at the bus station - but check opening hours (we went at 3pm and it was open)
Viajamos desde Salento a Medellín el 17 de Dic en el bus de las 9.30 pm. El conductor era un loco maniático!!! Nos dijeron que en condiciones ideales llegaríamos a Medellín a las 6am, pero llegamos a las 4am por lo rápido que manejaba este conductor. Iba a 60km/h en una carretera muy estrecha y llena de curvas con velocidad máxima de 20km/h y a 100 en una de 60. No le importa para nada poner en peligro a un bus lleno de gente. No logramos dormir ni un minuto por cómo nos moviamos de lado a lado en cada curva. Es una pena porque aparte de eso el bus es MUY cómodo.
