We stayed at Finca Temática La Divisa in March. Javier and his wife are amazing hosts. Javier will explain you everything about coffee (their honey coffee is just great) but also about biodiversity and fairtrade. They just started to offer accomodation, so do not hesitate to stay there several days: La paz total !!!

We had a wonderful and authentic experience at Javi's organic coffee farm! His passion for sustainable ecofarming and his knowledge about endemic birds and plants is boundless. We took a beautiful hike through along a selfmade trail through the woods. After some information about coffee processing, we enjoyed a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee with Javi and his lovely wife Ana. We saw at least 20 exotic species of bird and even more exotic plants. A truly wonderful expierence! To get there take a Willy from Filandia in direction Montenegro. Tell the Driver to drop you at La Española under the giant tree. Javi will then pick you up on his 4x4 truck. Call ahead!
Great experience (if you understand Spanish)
Beatiful experience. The place has organic platantions, many different types of tropical flowers, birds... They sell the organic coffee they produce and everything is respectful with the environment. The kindest hosts, and delicious and abundant food was offered for lunch at La Espanola. It's a great place to visit and I would definitely go back again.
Absolutely amazing experience and the best lunch we have had in south america I warmly recommend you do this. Also, we ended up buying so much delicious coffee for our family!!!
We did a coffee finca tour with Javier and it was awesome! Everything is organic and Javier takes great care to encourage biodiversity... from plants to insects to birds. He is extremely good fun, passionate and we felt like we were his first ever tour group he was so enthusiastic. His wife is lovely also. I’d 101% recommend to anyone, especially if you are conscious about the environment. Also, Javier, if you are reading this we TOTALLY forgot to write in your guest review book after lunch. We are so sorry!
