Definitely check out this amazing coffee farm. Not touristy, a real, small working farm on a beautiful piece of land. Carla, the owner and guide, is an excellent guide and teacher. The farm is only a 10-15 minute walk from the town. A must do.

The owner and his friendly golden retriever gave us an amazing tour of their beautiful organic farm. Ori is so passionate about his work and his property that he’s still taking pictures of the scenery just like one of the guests. He invited us into his home, taught us about the normal processing and growing methods in Colombia, and about his unique honey-wash process. We sampled some of his delicious coffee from a french press and a turkish pot, and talked around the table like friends. Afterword, he showed us the machines used to pulp the fruit, and we walked around seeing coffee trees, wax palms, bananos, the nursery, and breathtaking views. Don’t miss an opportunity to participate in this tour!
My boyfriend Blake and I went on the Finca Momota coffee tour with Carla last Friday and we had such a pleasant experience. She gives you a tour of the farm and she explains all about the entire process of growing coffee! I have a new found respect for coffee farmers now that I never thought about before. She also talks all about the farm itself and gives a great Biodiversity tour. You get to learn all about the climate in Salento and what can grow there. Her farm is also beautiful and so secluded! Carla and her family welcomed us into her home and were very accommodating and kind. :) I highly recommend this tour for a 'local' type of experience. One thing to note. It does rain a lot in Salento. Wear shows that are walking shoes as the place is a little hard to find and you may need to walk through the mud. Once you get to the sign for the hostel on your left (a ways down the dirt pathway) you will curve up the left side past the hostel and you will see a sign for Momota! Otherwise there are no signs and Googlemaps is not accurate.
We had a great private tour through the organic Coffee Farm with the owner and his cute dog. Great Tour, unique Coffee and special Coffee tasting at the end. you will have approximate a two to three hours tour. The way to the Farm is not far but muddy. You need to wear rubber boots. The Terrain is steep.
Wonderful place!!!! I strongly recommend this farm tour by Karla, you will learn a lot! It’s about 3 hours and worth it! Karla also sells fresh roasted coffee to take home. Gracias Karla!
Pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly family. They are farmers and love what they do. And you don't feel like you took a commercial tour. It's more like warm visit of your friends.
Very nice visit, would definitely recommend the tour.
Definitely a muss do when you are in Salento. Uri, owner and guide, was so passionate, open, friendly and knowledgeable! We had an amazing 3 hours here!
