Incredible viewing experience for hummingbirds! Saw many different types, including a tiny one with white boots and a two feather tail!! The owners are a little unwelcoming but still worth a visit on the way up la carretera. It's about 4 km off the main road.

This is a most for birding in Colombia, with endemic and rare species this one of the spots to visit when you in Colombia, this places has hummingbid and Tanager feeders and is special for groups of birdwatchers and photographers tha will enjoy marvelous views of the endemic and so stunning Multicolored Tanager thst comes to the banana feeders and also to the hummingbid feeders, for sure more than 40 species between humminbirds and tansgers visiting just the feeders, this with out mention that suddenly can appear Crested Quetzal, Golden-headed Quetzal, Ornate Hawk-eagle and more birds of this Km 18 cloud forest where Finca Alejandría "The Hummingbirds Paradise" is located. I invited everyone to come this fantastic place, this is also for famillies, grouos of friends and good Argentinian BBQ is offered there. Hope you enjoy Finca Alejandría!

Hummingbird paradise. This was a wonderful experience. Worth the visit and welcomed with a coffee, which you pay for,. Highly recommended for any bird enthusiast.

This is a great place to visit whether you are a birder or not. Everyone will enjoy it. If you go early and stay long you can likely see many beautiful Tanagers and hummingbirds, including Multicoloured Tanager, Saffron Crowned Tanager, Booted Raquet tail, Emerald Nymph, and Crested Quetzal. The staff and owners are so good and nice and friendly and offer great food and coffee.
