I went down to Medellin Colombia to celebrate one of my buddies Birthdays, and one of the highlights of our trip was getting dance lessons from the Euforia dance school. The goal with the lessons was to at least appreciate the different Latin rhythms before getting on a Chiva party bus later that night. There was a group of six of us and only two of us had ever visited Colombia ,or South America for that matter. Being that I am half Colombian I always thought that I would only see great salsa dancing in Cali, but I was definitely very wrong! The instructors demonstrated Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia and they were all from Medellin! Then it was time for our classes; Catalina and the rest of the instructors made us feel at ease and we all began to enjoy the music and instruction. Two hours of instruction flew by, and later that night, our “Gringo” crew had a fantastic night on a Colombian Chiva. We were all very happy with Euforia and all of the instructors. They were amazing dancers, but most importantly they were sweet and charismatic! Thank you Euforia dance school.

What a great experience. I wanted to learn to Salsa so I signed up for one class. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed on for several lessons. Catalina is great. She is patient. She speaks English. And she took my suggestions on what I wanted to learn instead of a cookie cutter one size fits all approach. I was amazed at how much and how fast that I learned. And it was FUN! So if you are in Medellin and have an interest in learning latin dancing, do not pass up the opportunity. You will never find a better school.

Fantastic experience at this dance school. I did 10 hours of private classes and all of the instructors were great! I started with absolutely 0 knowledge in any type of dancing and was able to get comfortable enough on a salsa dance floor to not make a fool of myself in a very short time. Getting experience with different instructors really helps as well.
This is the best salsa school I have ever been to. I have been to a lot of salsa schools now but the teachers here are at a different level. They dance salsa on 1, on 2, Cali, and Cuban style beautifully. Catalina, Julián, Daniel, Daniel, and Daniela all dance amazing. They also constantly change up the teacher (if you wish) so you can experience dancing with different people, which is crucial to prepare for social dancing, especially for leads. All the studios spaces here are private rooms so you get your own custom music to fit your needs. It’s not like other dance studios that have shared space private classes, where everyone dances to the same music. The cost of the classes is very reasonable.
Best school in Laureles!! Catalina, Lia and mommy are the best. They make you feel like family and really help you with your moves. All the instructors are amazing dancers and teachers. I miss this place
This place is fantastic. Everyone is super friendly and the teachers were really good. I needed a salsa tune up and Tatiana and Daniella gave me really precise tips. They are both professional dancers and really know their stuff, but still had lots of patience for this slow learning gringo! There’s also a sweet dog in the lobby who keeps you company if you arrive early.
I took clases for several weeks at this school. I enjoyed them a lot and also learned a lot. My teacher was Catarina, who speaks fluent English. The other teachers are also good but speak only Spanish, so you can learn salsa and Spanish at the same time. The school offers private and group class, in spacious clean rooms.
