Amazing local farm, great English speaking guide. Would highly recommend walking to this farm before stopping at the ones before!

Gracias a Carlos!! This was the most interesting, beautiful tour one could ask for. Carlos showed us his “life project” as he called it. And I can tell he succeeded. The farm is beautiful, he grows pretty much every fruit or vegetable one could ask for and takes the time to underline the importance of each and every animal or plant in nature. His look at the world, knowing that the answers to all our questions lie in nature, reflected and resonated with us and made us understand again that our priority in life should be taking care of our surroundings. Thank you again, Carlos!!

Most authentic coffee tour in Salento! I was lucky someone from the hostel told me about El Recuerdo. I just showed up there and I had a private tour by Juan José, he was really knowledgeable and passionate not just about the coffee process but also about a sustainable way to produce it so it respects nature and the farmers. I loved learning from the history of coffee to the way this farm went to a permaculture philosophy. And the coffee was just delicious!

Great Tour, the owner Carlos also speaks English and is passionate about his polycultural Farm, next to the coffee plants you will see a huge variety of tropical fruits, in the end you also get coffee :-)

Muchas gracias a Carlos! He is such a nice guy and told us about his poly culture philosophy that cares about the perfect balance with nature. He was very passionate and showed us many plants and fruits that grow on his farm. He answered all our questions without rushing and invited us to take a break with him in front of a beautiful scenery. The coffee process itself is also explained and in the end you can try an espresso which is delicious. I highly recommend this personal, interesting and funny tour (I would have paid definitely more than the 15000 pesos).

Best tour and coffee in Salento! Carlos has understood nature in its depth and has put all his knowledge / experience into his sustainable coffee farm. He is absolutely passionate about what he does and keeps his coffee plantation in perfect balance with nature. The tour is fun, interesting and you will definitely learn a lot about plants, animals and fungus.
