Very nice store. All of their jewelry seems to be very legit. No pressure sales if you choose not to buy. The minimum you will look to spend on an emerald set in silver will be about 150 USD.
Amazing experience, came here after doing research on where to buy emeralds and I’m glad I did. The staff was very attentive and patient with me picking out a pretty silver ring with a teardrop shaped emerald. They explained how the size, cut and finish comes into play when picking emeralds and advised out of the rings I had in mind which was the best emerald. I thought the price was beyond reasonable, and you could go in and find something nice with less than 150 USD to spend. All of this said, I think what struck me the most was that the staff still attended to me just the same picking out my silver ring, and my friend with her very simple silver necklace even when a woman walked in with her partner and headed straight for the more expensive gold pieces. The staff easily could have blown us off but they were so incredibly professional and treated us the same as the others with way more to spend. As two college students, we really appreciated this and plan to come back here for some of those bigger gold pieces when we begin working in our fields. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I did some research online and heard this is a nice place to come and browse where staff won't pressure you. A reputable store. We came inside and the man behind the counter said all the emeralds are from Colombia and if we need anything we should just ask. Great. We then proceeded to browse to see if there's anything we like. Mind you everything is behind glass. And then they wouldn't stop bothering us. God forbid we stood 5 seconds longer and looked at something that seemed more interesting - they would interrupt us as if smelling a sale. Two different people kept bothering us. We then proceeded to look at all the rings which are layed out in the center of the shop with the sales guy behind the counter. This annoying salesman kept following our every single step to always stand in front of us. It was so extremely offputting. The western culture does not like in your face experiences - it's very low class. Would have maybe bought something, but you were annoying so we left.
We bought a beautiful emerald bracelet. No complaints there. But when buying with a US credit card they charged it in local currency. I asked them to show and confirm it was only going be charged to our card at the agreed US price. They promised this, however my credit card showed a higher amount charged (by over 5%). I have tried to get them to engage with me via email etc, they just ignore me. So beware of this behavior.
Decided to look for my emerald ring from Lucy after doing some research. Wanted to buy something to remember our stop in Cartegena. Beautiful store with wonderful selection. Lucy and her son were very patient and helped me pick out a beautiful ring. Happy to say that my jeweler in my home town appraised it above my purchase price. So, if you stop in Cartegena on a cruise avoid the jewlers they try to send you to with a coupon. Go to Lucy. A reputable store with beautiful jewelry marked at fair prices. I had no trouble using my credit card. They used the exchange rate for that day and I was charged the exact price in US dollars. Thank you Lucy.
