I moved to Cali for 1 month and was happy to enrolled with Sabor Manicero. Everyone at the office was courteous and professional. I started level 1 with David and Alejandra and they were awesome . Quickly, I was asked to move into level 2A and at this level it got very challenging. I was able to learned from David and Alejandra a few times but most of the times my teacher was Angelica and she was magical \u200d️ I was upset to leave so fast... I was getting so much better at dancing or at least I felt that way. I also, got the chance to learn more about the teachers and they are real professionals. For instance, Angelica danced in Mexico professionally; Alejandra has won awards in acting; Lina was just a few weeks before I started taking classes in the hospital She was so dedicated to the dance academy that she was present teaching and doing what she loved! These just shows the level of excellence that Sabor Manicero has... I am only sad to leave Colombia and not being able to dance on nights. I missed it a lot

Best school in Cali for sure, I tried a lot, all are good but Sabor Manicero is the best. The teaching method is insane, no way to improve it since it's already perfect. I'm still shock and I keep telling to people how great it was, I'll change the plan of my trip just to come back one month only for this school.

What a great dance school! Cali is known as the Salsa Capital of the world and this place will teach what you need to know. BTW, sorry this review is a bit late. I had visited Colombia in May and was looking for a good school. From researching I stumbled across this place. The teachers are so sweet and helpful and the owner was very nice. If you want professional instructors I highly recommend this school if you're ever in Cali Colombia.

I've attended group and private lessons a few weeks ago with a friend and we both had a great time! The teachers explain all steps very detailed and even in group lessons they cater to all students individually. Highly recommending this school!!

Excellent studio and a really fun bunch of instructors. I came in with zero salsa experience and was able to enjoy myself after a few lessons. Buy a pack at the discounted price (70k for 8) and do two sessions per day. Honestly, I don't really understand the previous reviewer's frustration with the pace. If you're expecting to be good after an hour, that's just not realistic. Salsa is extremely athletic and even for a decent dancer you need to work at it. And yes, it will be harder if you don't speak fluent Spanish, obviously. Colombians speak... Spanish. But the foreigners in my classes have kept up just fine. As for complaints about decoration... really?

I loved the group Salsa classes here, they were genuinely interested in teaching me to dance and have fun. Great people in a wonderful environment. Thanks Manicero!

This may be a good place if you are a very fast learner. If you are an average beginner it is simply discouraging. The classes are huge, you can rarely see what steps the instructor is trying to teach you because of how many people are standing in front of you. They then divide the tremendous group of people into 4 smaller groups, and somehow above the very loud music, and 4 teachers shouting commands from different corners of the room, you have to try and understand what your teacher is saying. My teacher, a young lady kept giving me dirty looks when I would do the moves wrong, and instead of correcting me, would just add another series of steps and moves to the sequence, and then would get very annoyed with me for not being able to do them. The instructors would watch their students fumble with basic steps, and then would give us steps way beyond our capabilities, and would give looks to the other instructors and laugh at how incompetent were. I paid for a month, gave it a good try for 2 weeks , and then decided to find another school. The other school I went to was very supportive of their students, and would never get upset and annoyed with you for making mistakes. Avoid this place, it'll make most people give up on dancing altogether.
