I loved this place! The most important thing I noticed here was "inclusion" and I do not refer to the fact that everybody is welcome in! I refer to the culture you adopt once you are there. It does not matter you are tall or not, fat or fit, white or black or the mix of the world, young or not, does not matter if you know to dance or not. Here only matters one thing. Attitude! People come to dance, don't come to date, don't come to presume the best dancing, only come to dance only that matters and you will dance with everybody, and people who dances very well will teach you some nice steps. I love the energy of this place, and off course, here is only Salsa! Great Salsa!! Some nights it will be a cover, some nights not. Some nights will be expensive due some special event or group playing. Not easy to say expensive or not, for us was not expensive.
Barely any ppl during the pandemic which is perfect and they are pretty good about having people wear masks. Go with your dance partner for the night!
I really, really enjoyed this place. Entrance is 20k pesos. The atmosphere is sensational! I had a blast there. Also, I had no issues dancing with another guy. Cali used to be very macho city but things have changed! Do you want to lear how Caleños dance? Go to La Topa Tolondra and hace a blast!
It does not look like much on the outside but once you step inside and get past security you instantly realize that you have reached the current epicenter of Salsa dancing. The focus is on dancing and the music. The bar is okay. The drinks are hit or miss. That doesn't matter. The dancing... Is world-class. Simply watching the dancing is enjoyable. Getting in there with the crowd is rapturous. It is Salsa and Salsa alone. Be prepared.
Awesome salsa party almost every day. I came here 6 times during my 2-week stay in Cali. Lots of good local dancers as well as international dancers. The best place to dance salsa and to see some good salsa caleña!
Good place to dance salsa or just to have a good time. A bit pricey, but it's a club!
