We went to Cartagena , Colombia for a week , July 2019. I booked a weeks worth of diving with Buzos De Baru. They are a top notch diving facility. They made sure we were well taken care of, and having fun. They have a very nice , clean boat, a great dive shop with dive gear to rent or buy. The best part of all is all the beautiful photos they take of you while diving. I would love to go back and dive with them again one day!

What an amazing two days of diving. From start to finish Juan checked us in with ease, helped find wife’s Padi # on line and we were off and running. Transportation was great and the diving was beautiful. Mountain site with vibrant coral and marine life was abundant. Dive master Juan took care of us once we were in the boat and while in the water. Everyone made sure we comfortable. From water and tea to fresh fruit. The final day we drove on 16th century cannons and anchors. For someone who is fascinated with anything Spanish Galleon. This was a special treat. Thank you Juan, Juan and team for an awesome 2 days. I would highly recommend and comeback.

Excellent dive center! We took the PADI open water diver course with instructor Juan. He was very experienced and patient with us. The first day, during the pool session, my partner got sick (due to lunch) and was unable to continue that day. Fortunately, they arranged a flexible way to catch up with all the exercises next day so she could complete the instruction at the same time. We did 4 dives at Baru. We went to a shipwreck which was quite amazing. Reef was nice. We always felt very safe with our instructor. The boat trip was about 20 minutes. We were with about 15 people on the boat of 22. The crew prepared fresh fruit when we can out of the water. We could chose to start from the boat or have our equipment dropped in the water ( I preferred the latter). They assisted us well gearing up. The instructors took a lot of HQ pictures under water and shared them later for free which is highly appreciated. I give this team a 5 star rating. Very friendly, professional, helpful and kind! We did the PADI theory in advance.

I took my PADI certification here with Juan and Juan. The entire team is super professional; strong emphasis on safety; and, the staff are very attentive to participant needs (where a certified or recreational diver). This dive group has some great dive locations; newer equipment; and fast boats to get you to and from Cartagena quickly. Whether you want to do a recreational dive, or get your PADI, this is a great school with good people and I highly recommend.

Great diving experience. Interesting wreck dives. Friendly, well run school. I’m a PADI divemaster and have been to many dive schools around the world. Very friendly owner who took the time to repeat everything in English for me, as my Spanish is only basic. He took photos throughout the dive and shared them free of charge, which is great as many places charge extortionate amounts for photos. Thanks for two great dives.

My girlfriend and I did four dives with Buzos de Baru, a mixed plan (afternoon night dive) and a two-tank morning dive. They were awesome. There is lots of life on the reefs to see, and I'd especially recommend the night dive, because so many more creatures come out at night. One of our day dives was a wreck dive, which was really cool, and I'd highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful, fun, and patient. I speak some Spanish, and they were patient with me over the phone and over email as I worked to schedule our dives. The owner, Juan, is a great guy and went above and beyond to give us recommendations of places to check out in the city. All the dive staff we met were friendly and made the experience totally worth it. 10/10. Definitely check these folks out. PS: They take photos of you as part of the dive packages as well. These were a lot of fun, and we had never done that before. The photos turned out great, and they sent them all to us as high quality files via Dropbox.
