Great location. Access to hot water for at least a few minutes. Towels for the beach. Not sparkling clean, but good enough. AC works well. Manager Benjamin will help you book tours.

The apartment is in a perfect location and has all the amenities you need (including excellent air conditioning, which was very needed). However to me the best part of staying here was all the recommendations and suggestions we received from Barbara and Deborah. It was great to meet them both, as well as Benjamin who stopped by to say hello - quite rare these days to actually meet the people behind your B&B! Whether it was restaurant recommendations, suggestions for how best to visit Palenque, or arranging a trip for us to Rosario Islands, all three made our trip that much easier and more enjoyable. Also, big shout out to Yasmina who was there to help us out whenever we needed her!! Thank you all, we had a great time in Cartagena :-)

I had quite a few questions before we arrived, and Barb took a lot of time and care in replying to make sure I got a unit that would work best for our needs. Her communications were outstanding! Units were exactly as depicted--small (we rented a studio), but clean and a great location. We loved the access to outdoor spaces--both drinking our coffee in the morning on our balcony overlooking the street vendors, and having our cocktails in the afternoon on the roof deck. Easy walking distance to everything a tourist is looking to see in Cartagena. Would highly recommend.

This little apartment was absolutely perfect for our trip, and exactly what we wanted: a centrally located place with a comfy bed, a good shower, and some cold air conditioning! Barbara was fantastic at communicating everything prior to our arrival, and provided us with some great information. We took a red-eye flight and landed in Cartagena early in the morning. Luckily, nobody had rented the apartment the day before, so we were able to check in early and get a short nap in before hitting the streets to explore. Despite our own inefficiencies with using our phones in a foreign country, Benjamin was easy to get a hold of and met us at the house after the housekeeper let us in (I think her name is Yvonne?). In the course of chatting with Benjamin, he asked about our plans for the week and offered to set us up with a day trip to the Rosario Islands. When the day came, he met us at the apartment and walked us over to the harbor, which was a huge relief given how busy it is there and how relatively terrible my Spanish is. While this isn't necessarily a comment on the apartment itself, I do love that they partner with local charities as a part of your experience. My husband and I are huge proponents for animal rescues and I was thrilled to be able to donate some of the dozens of extra dog goods to Cartagena Paws. Added benefit: the space they took up in my bag on the way down was perfect for storing all my purchases on the way back! If you're looking for something simple and convenient with attentive hosts who can help you explore the real Cartagena, you can't go wrong here!

Barbara and her team are fantastic. I've stayed at two separate locations of hers over two vacations and enjoyed both. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, safe and in a great location. Her and her team are very responsive and always available to assist with out of the ordinary situations. I highly recommend you stay here.
