The journal is published quarterly and publishes original and unpublished results of basic and applied research on biological topics with a special interest in presenting results of work carried out and/or related to the neotropics. Manuscripts can be research articles, review articles, reflection articles or short notes. Acta Biol Colomb has a scientific and editorial committee made up of researchers with recognized experience in their specialty areas.
