Wow this place is so great. We found the best guide at the same place and a great 3 start cozy accommodation . This desert is so amazing and I’m so glad I made the effort to go / I not only visit the red zone but all the valley of the XILOPALOS ,

A big desert and a big view. It is amazing and it is something that probably you will love. Caution is hot. 38 c - 41 c but is a place that you will never forget. :)

Beautiful different kind of desert. Prehistoric evidence. Don't venture in without a guide. It's too dangerout. One will easily disorientate himself in the dazzling heat. The heat is easy to underestimate.

I recommend going with a guide to get the best out of it. It's takes about 2hrs to hile around, depending on your walking speed of course.

Beautiful! Red & grey deserts. Take enough water, it’ll be dry you can do the tour by your own but anyway be respectful and follow recommendations. One of the cutest places on this country

A good place for short trips as this is a different place considering the vegetation of Colombia. Tatacoa desert offers a lot of fun filled activities, like cycling, camping, and trekking. Overall a good place to visit with friends and to explore a different side of Colombia.

A wonderful experience for those who like trekking and adventure. The red desert is amazing, but the grey one you can skip it if you don't have enough time, as it doesn't have something really really special. Hostals and mototaxis in the area are good, but definitely not cheap. If you have the chance to go by car, I would def. recommend it. ;)
