Very well organized and professional museum with fossils including a section of a juvenile pliosaurus. The museum and the collection is quite small, but the specimens are high quality and well preserved. Most displays are in Spanish, with a few English explanation on some pieces. The property includes an arboretum with a selection of indigenous and foreign plant species.

One of best museum ever. Really nice lady, she show us everything and she was very heplfull. Museum is small but interractive with many posters and boards with information about prehistorical animals and sealife around Villa de Leyva. Garden behind the museum is awesome as well.

It's a beautiful place. The museum itself is tiny but interesting. The garden is really nice with so much information. Do not forget install the recommended apps when enter. This makes the experience a lot more interesting

Quaint university-run paleontology museum with a collection of fossils when the Villa de Leyva valley was part of an ocean 50 million years ago. Unique dinosaur pieces, niece guides explain the history of the place.

Museum closed for defumigation. Many visitors come for nothing.,
