This a frequently visited place for those going to Villa de leyva. While Colombia is not known for its wine, this place is worth the visit, the tour in the vineyard is very informative, the views are great and the wines & food are a great complement. The weather’s almost always kind, warm & fresh, everything is super organized & spacious.

After being in Napa a few weeks ago, I didn’t have very high expectations of this Vineyard but to our surprise the experience was pretty good with a great tour led by Carlos where we learned about making wine in Colombia. The wine, specially the Merlot, was surprisingly good...even bought some bottles to take home. The tour was just 25k COP or about US7.50. My two teenage kids ate ice cream and drank juice while enjoying the very good Wi-Fi connection!!! Highly recommended!!!

Nice place. The fee was a little bit high due to the fact that we could only taste one glass\u200b of wine. But they also tell you about the whole production process (in Spanish) which is interesting as well.

Was here in September 2013 with locals from Bogotá, very nice experience.

I first visited few years ago and liked it a lot. This is why I wanted to come back. Unfortunately this time wine is very bad. It is extremely bitter. And I am a regular dry red wine drinker. The prices are also very expensive. Could not finish the glass. Sorry to see the only wine maker in Colombia go.

This was the first time in my life I've thrown wine away. The Merlot smelled of kerosene and was full of sediment. The white looked like water, and both smelled and tasted of a diluted paint stripper. I really hope it wasn't... They offered chocolate and fruit to add the missing flavour from the wine. As for the tour, so so. And the venue was all modern and well made. Shame about the wine

Lovely setting and facility. Disappointed that were allowed to taste only one wine for the fee. Then that year wasn't available. We did buy the same variety of a later year and hope it's as good.

Truly mindblowing to visit a vinifera winery in the tropics. Their wine is good, which was a pleasant surprise given the lacklustre reviews of people that visited 10 years ago. I take it that they've come a long way in 29 years. I will be back.
