Pretty good museum overall. Enough signs in English so I could understand the story they were telling. My only big disappointment was that, probably due to covid, we had to book in advance for an hour time slot, and then we had to leave after that hour. I probably could have spent more time here.

You have to make an online reservation and it's a quick tour of the museum

Fairly good gold museum. No real tours in English. But there are plaques that have English for 3/4 of the exhibits. Has more indigenous information about the tribes in Magdalena province which is cool.

A must visit attraction in Santa Marta. The history of the region is fascinating.

It's very informative and free of charge so if you don't get to read about everything in one visit you can always come back..pity they don't have a little cafeteria in the courtyard..:)

The best place where you could get to know about inhabitants Tayronas, the ones who made the Lost City in Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta

It's an awesome place, it gives you plenty of information about the history of Santa Marta, the indigenous people in it, their history, the history of Simón Bolívar, it teaches you about their traditions and it even has some presentations in a good quality about the foods and the history of Santa Marta.
