This is the place to apply for and obtain your cedula and to get necessary documents for a Colombian visa. It was not crowded but the staff said Monday's are the busiest days. They accept cash but prefer payment via a credit or debit card. The office has indeed moved. It is now on Cl 19 and not on Cl 22.

it is the place for visa extention , but first you need a number (codigo) from the internet easy to get at internet café near by , then you have to go pay 99K cop at a bank office (banco de occident) then come back to get your passport stamped , arrive soon in morning as they close between 12&2 pm
I got a quick and easy visa extension (prórroga) at this office (90 to 180 days). I didn't have to pay anything even though I expected to pay 40 for it. When I later left the country they didn't ask for this money either. If you're here also for a visa extension, don't forget to bring like a phone number and name of your local host/hotel. I also wrote a blog post on the extension process.
Great department, very helpful staff but the office has moved!! You must go several blocks away to find the new office.

Leslie, la señora que me recibió, es una verdadera perla! Con paciencia, explicándome todo claro, súper atenta. Se veía que me quería ayudar. Desafortunadamente, el vigilante no esta con ninguna ganas de ayudar ni siquiera un poquitito. No se da cuenta de la importancia para la cual venimos a la oficina. Entiendo que no es su papel, pero podría por lo menos tratarnos como seres humanos.
Buena atención, las instalaciones son sencillas , con aire acondicionado y sillas.
Con la situación de cuarentena, encontrar que los número que tienen para atención al publico no funcionan es bastante desagradable, ya que te obliga a ir a la oficina y exponerte para hacer una simple pregunta.
