My experience with Colombia Rafting Expediciones was nothing short of spectacular! The staff and their guidance were brilliant and the rapids the best I've ever experienced. We ran through many different levels, 3-5, and I never felt unsafe. It was an exhilarating experience and one I would tell everyone is a MUST do with Colombia Rafting Expediciones while you are in San Gil! Thank you CRE team for a wonderful day on the river!

Absolutely fantastic trip with these guys. Great vibes and fun as well as hard earned experience. The guides took every possible step to make us feel comfortable and confident in tackling advanced rapids, a first for me which went extremely well.

So much fun. A great organization. They took such good care of us. And Nestor is the best guide. So much fun !! Plus we get all the photos and videos high res afterwards for free. Absolutely awesome experience!

Great level 5 rafting experience at the Suarez river. Very professional stuff, a fun refreshing activity and a good snacks and beers afterwards. Could work on their punctuality, but I’d do it again!

¡Super bueno! My boyfriend and I took a 3 day kayaking class with Ricardo, and it was fantastic. Ricardo is knowledgeable, professional, resourceful, encouraging, and accommodating. He taught us the basics in a really accessible way, as well as incrementally walking us through the more complicated Eskimo roll. Against all odds, by day 3, we were both Eskimo rolling on our own! And Ricardo really went above and beyond the kayak course, recommending restaurants, teaching us the history of different areas of the Santander region, and even telling us about the hidden grave of a famous engineer! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Do yourself a favor, and take advantage of everything he has to offer! He knows all the best swimming holes, waterfalls, hikes, nightlife, dance spots, street food—just, anything you’d want to know. If you’re only in San Gil for a short time, I highly recommend you take a class with Ricardo. It’d be worth the price just for him to act as concierge for your visit! And if you’re SUPER lucky, maybe you’ll also get to meet his awesome wife, Jenny!

I brought my inflatable NRS Kayak. I was very happy with the Shuttle services and getting to know the guides! Great people!!! The first day I paddled the Rio Suarez a very fast and very strong river! I hardly ever flipped out of my boat only a few times in the last 25 years! And on this section of the Suarez River I flipped 4 times! The 2nd day I paddled the Fonce Rio which is slower but has class 3 rapids with good sized standing waves! Highly recommend THIS PLACE AND THE EMPLOYEES! Thanks to all of the guides! My New group of friends! Tio Harley!

Unbelievable experience. Ricardo is so friendly and explains everything very well. One of our group was nervous and unsure about going but 100% loved every second of it. We had Nestor as our captain and he was laughing and drove with our paddling perfectly. Then beer and food after ! Best money I've spent in a month in Colombia.

I did a three day kayak course with Colombia Rafting Expeditions. My instructor was Ricardo. I don't usually post reviews but I did truly have an exceptional experience. I did the course as a solo traveler and had a twinge of fear about the handling the river in a kayak. Ricardo did a perfect job keeping me safe and comfortable, yet also challenging me. From the eskimo roll until we were raging down class III rapids, I couldn't have imagined a better place to learn. You're awesome Ricardo!
