This is a really great town for sight seeing and having a nice meal. A lot of the restaurants around here have vegan an vegetarian options. The central plaza is beautiful and the street that leads to the mirador is full of souvenir shops. Truly a must go location if you are ever in the country.

Great little town. However it's becoming more and more touristic and becomes very full during certain holidays. It is however very picturesque and you have to visit at least once. Visit parque de la cocora nearby in the morning and come to Salento for lunch. There are some really nice restaurants here.

Very nice colonial city to visit as tourist in Colombia. Many impressive activities to do from a hike in the palm trees forest to the many coffee farms, many hostels and many tourist form around the world. The locals are really nice and smooth and the activities are affordable.

Little Colonian town, very close to cocora valley where you can take the jeeps, is full of little antersanian shops where you can buy souvenirs and there are great nice coffee shops to enjoy a nice Colombian coffee, it can be a bit crowded during the weekends. If you like to know more about coffee it is a great place to take a excursion to the coffee plantations or just enjoy the nice views!
