Lovely town, you can find lots of typical souvenirs for an amazing price here. The Ruanas are one of the best clothing in the region and they have really good colors and protect from the cold. Ceramic and painted by hand objects are pretty good too
The square is not too big like it's counterparts in the region. The colour and the vibrance makes up for the size. This is an extremely colorful and wonderful place. The statues depict the culture of the artisans of this region. There are innumerable shops around that sell the artisan products made of terra cotta that makes this region so famous. The place can get really crowded during the weekends, hence plan your visit accordingly.
Free place to get beautiful souvenirs the prices were very good as well
What makes this place so appealing is the colors of the shops and restaurants on the main streets. The main square is beautiful. Great place to buy souvenirs especially ponchos (ruanas). There are a few good restaurants where you can try the local soups such as the Cazuela Boyacense, if you're into soups. If you're in this region you should venture into trying the soups. I'm Colombian so I love soups.
Beautiful... Nice food nearby main square.
So beautifull place, it's fine and lovely
