Great location for kitesurfing, people are really friendly and helpful. As for taking lessons here, we have mixed feelings. My girlfriend was left alone for too many times even though she had private lessons. One time she lost her board and after 10 minutes of drifting off a random kiter helped her. Not sure what her teacher was doing, but he wasn’t there to help her. And don’t expect them to respond on WhatsApp anytime soon. It took them 3 days to reply.

A unique setting for kite surfing, you should definitely go there. Regardless if you are a beginner or advanced. They have English speaking teachers and will even accompany you by boat, one teacher for you only and one boat driver. You can not ask for more! In the camp by the lake they have a bar and you get very delicious meals cooked by a friendly local mum. Their equipment is brand new and they can also equip whole groups. In the weekend locals from Cali will come here for Kite surfing. I also stayed at their "casa kite" which is a very nice house equipped with everything you would ever need: kitchen, washing machine, Netflix, garden with fresh fruits,... The best is that the woman taking care of the breakfast will prepare exactly what you like. You just tell her the day before and you can have it all, from fruit juices, all kind of egg things, rice, meat, platanos, coffee, chocolate... It could simply not be better.

We made a reservation at noon for kiteboarding lessons for the family. We showed up and only one family member was allowed to kiteboard, we waited until 5 pm before giving up. Frustrating, since we drove from Bogotá with a reservation and over half of our group didn't get to go out. They kept saying that we could go in an hour, so we kept waiting in the baking sun. Miserable.
