I only saw this impressive fort as I passed by on a cruise ship in March 2020, but it was very impressive and beautiful!
Pretty well kept Historical site. Nice views and a nice travel back to the past. Beware of spontaneous guides, even though they are nice and warm people, you should always ask how much they will charge for the time and let them know whether you want to take the service or not. After the visit take the time to have lunch and enjoy the nearby beach.

Excellent tourist destination.
Really cool history I suggest that you go to San Felipe first and make sure you go to the building marked hospital the show a video about the history of the construction of the entire city fort and why it was built the way it was.
