What an amazing place! I spent my birthday here (travelling four months in South America alone) and they made it so special to me! When I went for breakfast they surprised me with pancakes, candles and singing - thought my heart was going to burst! Absolutely the most wonderful staff I've ever met and overall a great hostel!
Best hostel un town. Franco and Paola, the owners, always at service. Very clean rooms and toillets. Location in perfect, just a few steps from the beach and the centre.

freesoul is a super good hostel in Palomino, which just opened up. The rooms are nice, made out of concrete and you have a nice veranda to enjoy the breeze and connect with your neighbors. The common area has a lot of spaces, is mostly in the shade and there is an oversized dreamcatcher on the tree to keep all the bad spirits away. Pancakes or eggs for breakfast are included. Friendly staff and owners are always on site and happy to help you with anything you need.
Brand new hostel in Palomino! Used to be a camping and now have double rooms and dorm option! The owners Franco and Paola are very nice people they really take care of the guest! All mattress are new, the dorm bed have their individual fan, light and plug! The hostel in between the main street of restaurant and the beach! Perfect location! Nos vemos amigos!
This brand new hostel is amazing. The owners treated us like family throughout our whole 4 nights stay there. I had a stomach bug when we arrived and the owners offered to drive me to the hospital if I needed it. They also went out and got me a rehydration drink to help me recover! Incredibly sweet people. Everyday they would ask about how I was doing. They also gave us recommendations, helped us figure out how to best visit nearby Tayrona, get to the ATM in Mingeo, booked our shuttle back to Cartagena for us and more. The list goes on and on. They are alsways happy to chat or help. You never feel like you are bothering them. The room itself is also great. Much cleaner than the typical hostel room you would find and quite affordable too. Definitely good value for the money. We chose a double room with a private bathroom. Our room had a pretty comfortable bed, clean sheets, a mosquito net, a fan and a little couch. They even had a pitcher of purified water for us upon arrival. The bathroom was clean and had nice natural light. Breakfast is included which is always a bonus. The breakfast here is definitely one of the most generous and tasty ones we've had during our Colombian travels. You can have either fried or scrambled eggs with or without tomatoes and onions, with toast or arepas. You can also have a bowl of granola with milk and fruit instead. If you chose eggs, they will also serve you a nice plate of fresh fruit along with it. You also get a fresh fruit juice and coffee. The location was perfect for us, right in the middle of everything. It's only a few minutes walk on either side to the beach or to the center. They have two chilled put dogs and a social cat on the property. We really appreciate all that the owners have done for us during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Palomino. If we were to come back in Palomino we would love to stay here again and wish all the best for the future to the amazing owners!
