This is a wonderful garden we’re the plants have taken over the original facilities (there are newer ones not to worries) in a twist of irony. Not only are the trails well maintained, the grounds are beautiful and very natural. It you are a birdwatcher or just love tropical forest, you will really enjoy this spot. I enter first thing on Sunday morning and I wasn’t certain they were open but just use the gate to the left of the parking lot gates (they were still closed when I arrived). They are closed on Mondays! Fee: 20,000 Colombian pesos. There are several restaurants along the road in from the highway. I went to Selva Negro which was good. Enjoy!!

This is an absolutely amazing place to visit, it is by the entrance of a town called Turbaco ( name taken from an ancient brave, war-skilled native indian tribe known as Yurbacos) in the Guillermo Piñeres garden, there are plenty of animals to see, like monkeys, sloths and birds of different kinds. There are lots of plants and flowers of all sorts, some of which only exist in very few places. This massive garden is filled with flora and fauna and it is a glimpse of what this part of Colombia used to look like about four hundred years ago. This garden is also well known historically, because of the different important events that took place on its surroundings. The independence of Colombia was signed on a ranch not far from the garden named "Torrecilla". Also, as you come out of the garden unto the main road, you will get a panoramic view of Cartagena de indias, which was an strategic place for the battles of independence; the people could see their enemies coming from the sea and up the hill towards the town and thus prepare for battle. If you love exploring, birdwatching, or simply walking in nature. This is the place to be.

It was okay. Nice calm spot to go to for 2 hours. In the middle of nowhere and was a pain to get to.

The place it's great, but the guide service it's disappointing. The guide who "taught" me about plants, literally didn't knew about them, her work was to show us briefly a couple of trees.

Gorgeous! A variety of plant life native to South America and even spotted animals including monkeys. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable!

It has the healthiest air if this city. The best thing is its biodiversity of trees.
