This hostal was our first home in Medellin. We felt at home. Friendly and helpful staff and owner. It was quiet and away from the hustle of the area, yet close enough to the metro. I dont mind staying there again when I am back to Medellin.

Really disappointing experience here. The hostel looked pretty good in reviews and photos, but in person everything was run down and and a bit grubby. We booked into a private room, but unlike the bright, airy, nicely decorated spaces we had seen on photos, we were put in a dank, depressing area that resembled a cell. There was a load of hair in the bathroom from a previous guest, the bed sheets looked older than me (31) and the 'provided towels' turned out to be a single ratty old hand towel (basically no use to anyone). The only window faced straight on to a series of washing machines that offered no natural light, but plenty of humidity and noise. We had booked for 4 nights but left the same day we arrived (yep, we hated it that much). The person on reception had insisted we pay on arrival, so we had to hand over money before we had seen any of the rest of the hostel. As this place only handles cash payments, we had absolutely no recourse when we actually found out what the hostel was like. They kept our money and we found a better place to stay. We loved every other hostel we stayed at in Colombia, so this was a total exception. Medellin has plenty of better places. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
Absolutely love it here. I ended up staying longer then planned because I loved it so much. If you don't like dogs or animals, it's not for you. There are two sweet dogs, they bark at first but it's just to sound an alarm they are harmless. The owner Vincent is very hospitable. He speaks French, Spanish, English. Breakfast is included. Overall great atmosphere. It's quiet, close to the metro station, safe. Met some really great people here.

Really nice hostel, clean and well located. Spacious Room, wonderful breakfast and good Wi-Fi Close to the metro station (La Floresta), restaurants and stores. Nice host really helpful, speak french, english and spanish.
I went this year, it was the best service, it is a ñ calm place to sleep and the new own, Sol, she is a really nice girl.
Great hostel, very affordable. Nice atmosphere. Ask the owner to prepare lunch or dinner for you, it's cheap and the best I've had in Colombia. This guy should become a chef. Free breakfastWiFi.
